Pakistan high on way to aggression on Indian

New Delhi Oct. 30 An official briefing by the Indian Defence Ministry reveals that Pakistan, in her war moves, has fully mobilised her army to all Indian borders, in the three fronts—the eastern with West Bengal. Tripura and Meghalaya, the western with Punjab and Rajasthan, and along the cease-fire line of Jammu and Kashmir.
Pakistan is high on the way to and aggression on India and for this purpose, she has been military offensive in the eastern and western fronts of he Indo-Pak borders and across the cease-fire line in the Kashmir region.
This is the impression one gets from an officials briefing by the Principal Information Officer of the Press Information Bureau, and his junior, the director of public Relations, Defence here this evening.
They presented a diary of events relating to exchange of fire between October 1 and October 29 on the eastern and western sides and along the cease-fire line in Jammu and Kashimr. In all cases the Indian side had ably responded to Pakistani offensive firings.
In some cases, Pakistani army units had sought to occupy Indian territory but Indian security forces had driven them out.
On the eastern sector, Pakistani troops crossed into the Indian territory at a number of places and fired at our posts. Indian troops fired back pushing Pakistani troops back resulting in casualties on both sides.
On the western sector, between October 1 and 26. Pakistani troops committed 138 cease-fire violations from Karagil to Chamb in Jammu and Kashimur area, the largest number of these 43 being in the Poonch sector.
The Pakistani violations included instances of shooting at helicopters and air observation planes, all of them flying well within the Indian territory.
On October 29, an Indian air observation plane in the Agratala area was fired upon by Pakistani army personnel in the Kamalpur area, Partially damaged, the aircraft, a small one, could return to the base.
Indian helicopters had also been attacked elsewhere.
The Official briefing establishes that India is not failing in replying in military terms, to Pakistan’s offensive gestures, but that the attacking initiative seems to be still with Pakistan.
Meanwhile, India today looged a strong protest to Pakistan against the violation of Indian air space by Pakistani planes.
The protest followed intrusion by two PAF planes over the air space in Jammu and Kashmir this afternoon even as reports of continued shelling by Pakistani troops in the eastern sector came in. The planes flew away before they could be engaged by the IAF planes.
In the chamb-Jaurian sector Pakistani troops indiscriminately fired on an Indian plane flying well within the Indian territory.
