“Autonomous Baluchistan” moment starts
The people of Baluchistan have started a new movement for full autonomy under the leadership Khan Abbus Samad Khan Achakjai Popularly known as the “Baluch Gandhi,” according to “Natun Bangla,” the organ of the Bangladesh National Awami Party (Wali Muzafar group), says PTI.
A report, published in the September 2 issue, said the Baluch people were also demanding inclusion of he Baluch-speaking regions like Kharan, Makran, Kalat and Lasbela into “their autonomous Baluchistan.”
The Pakistani military junta, however, had already put Khan Samad Khan into army custody.
